The Software developer and artist Yasha Jain created this installation at the convergence of Al with the art of humor, offering a nuanced perspective on the intersection of technology and creativity. Shes part of the artistic research and development department Hertzlab at ZKM. At its core, it has a Vision Al and a Text generation Al. The vision Al (flava) analyzes the image and generates a description for each image. It deciphers the underlying themes and visual cues, ensuring that the generated memes are not only amusing but also contextually aware. The image description is then sent to a language model that generates a meme caption.
